Following requirements must be fulfilled to get a passport:

Please read carefully these requirements, specified for every situation. Be sure to present all the documentation required, in order to save difficulties.

The person must go to the Embassy of Guatemala in Vienna, Austria. There his/her data will be compiled, the digital tracks taken and the passport picture, which are press in an electronically way.

Legal age applicants:
 
* Full filed the Application Form
* Original Identification Card
* Overcome Passport (in case you have it)
* One Photocopy for the above mentioned documents

In case that the applicant do not have the Identify Card due to lost or robbery, must show a certificate of the original Identify Card (photocopy of the registration Book certificate extended by the Attorney, where it appears your registration and picture) and also the corresponding police denounce.
Please notice that no passport will be extended by the Embassy only with the certificate of birth.

Minor legal age applicants:

All minor legal age person (under 18 years), must fullfill following requirements:

*  Full filled Application Form.
* Original of the Certificate of Birth.
* Overcome Passport (If you have it).
* Passport and/or Identify Card of both Parents.
* Both parents and the minor legal age, must be present physically at the moment of the application.
 * Authorization Letter signed by the parents accepting the emission of a passport.
